Deutsche Bank inspires creativity through its sponsorship of artistic programs and is the proud Education Partner of the 17th Biennale of Sydney. Deutsche Bank
believes that art, and in particular contemporary art, encourages people to try something new and broaden their horizons; art challenges, perplexes and educates. It is for these reasons that Deutsche Bank is thrilled to work in conjunction with the Biennale on its education program.
The education program is designed to engage audiences with the themes and works presented in this year’s Biennale. It includes special publications, an online teacher’s kit, vodcast interviews and podcast tours, events for schools, artists' talks, guided tours, outreach programs, transport subsidies and specially designed education hubs. A highlight of the program are the Kids’ Days on Cockatoo Island throughout July.
Chum Darvall, Chief Executive Officer, Deutsche Bank Australia said: ‘We are excited to be the Education Partner of the Biennale of Sydney and to contribute to this celebration of contemporary art.’
Not only does Deutsche Bank’s partnership with the Biennale ensure contemporary art is accessible to a wider range of people, it promotes a creative working environment and a deeper understanding and appreciation of contemporary visual culture.
