The Biennale of Sydney is Australia’s premier international art festival with a rich 37-year history. Positioned as one of the world’s most respected events of its kind, the Biennale of Sydney has the enviable reputation of producing biennial exhibitions that give our community new ways of looking at the world and new ways of seeing and understanding art. Each event enlivens our public spaces with contemporary art, encourages dynamic curatorial practices and stimulates people to engage with Sydney’s spectacular museums and cultural centres.

The Biennale of Sydney is instrumental in bringing many of the world’s leading and most established artists to Sydney and to Australia. The premiering of newly commissioned works are constant highlights of each Biennale, which provides a dynamic platform on which Australian artists are exhibited alongside such renowned international talent.

Such a revered program is only realised through the generous and committed support from the broad-reaching Biennale community. Throughout the Biennale’s history, corporate and individual donations have been critical in realising ambitions and have amounted to an investment in the organisation’s future.

We continue to need your support. There are many ways you may choose to support the Biennale, whether as a corporate sponsor, private donor or through volunteering your time.

Every contribution plays a significant role.

Your time and commitment to the Biennale of Sydney will make a real difference and will go directly to supporting the artists, including their projects and travel, improving our education and public programs and, importantly, keeping the exhibition free to be enjoyed by all.
