Focus on Asia | Seven leading artists from Asia show challenging and beautiful works in the Grand Court.

One of Australia’s leading art museums, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is located within beautiful parklands overlooking Sydney Harbour, only 15 minutes walk from the CBD. Visit on Wednesday evenings until 9 pm for Art After Hours – an entertaining program of celebrity talks, tours, film and music.

Transport Information:

Parking: Limited meter parking on Art Gallery Road and Mrs Macquarie's Road.
Parking also in the Domain Car Park with a discount parking offer. There are drop-off and pick-up zones in front of the Gallery. Accessible access at rear of Gallery building.

Walking: Five minutes from Macquarie Street or Hyde Park.

Bus: 441 departs from the York Street side of Queen Victoria Building on the hour and every 20 minutes during the week and every 30 minutes on weekends and public holidays. The Gallery is on the Sydney Explorer bus route, stop 6.

Train: Nearest train stations are St James and Martin Place. Both are 10 minutes walk.
